ALPEX OBALY, s.r.o. is a family business with a long tradition in the production and processing of packaging materials. We have been operating continuously since 1992, when we started under the name Josef Peňáz – ALPEX. In 2011, we transformed the business into a legal entity, which today bears the name ALPEX OBALY, s.r.o. The company is owned and managed by Marek Peňáz and Lucie Peňázová. We are located at Horní Václavov 1, 792 01 Václavov near Bruntál and are registered in the commercial register maintained by the Regional Court in Ostrava, section C, file 36712. We are a private company with no foreign participation.
Our Production
Initially, we specialized in processing aluminum foil. Over time, we expanded our product range to include other packaging materials – baking paper and food (frisch) foil.
These materials are available in various lengths, widths, and grammages according to the specific requirements of our customers. Baking paper is supplied either in sheets or wound in rolls.
All products are manufactured on fully automated lines, ensuring high precision in winding and thorough quality control. In 2014, we significantly innovated the production of baking paper, and thanks to modern winding and packaging technologies, we achieve high quality and efficiency. We offer two types of consumer packaging – a paper box or packaging made of BOPP foil.
Since 2010, we have also been manufacturing paper cores, which are used not only in our own production but also supplied to other customers.
Our Customers
Our packaging is intended for a wide range of uses in households, as well as for large-scale customers – bakeries, confectioneries, kitchens, bistros, hotels, and other catering businesses.
Quality and Certification
All products meet the requirements of both Czech and European standards and legislation. Our production facilities are certified according to the ISO 22000:2018 standard, and this certification is regularly verified through an annual audit. Quality and safety of our products are crucial to us.
Ecology and Sustainability
In 2024, we invested in renewable energy sources and equipped both production facilities with solar panels. As a result, we produce using solar energy and reduce our ecological footprint.
